Join us for an installation of ceramic works by Spring 2025 design resident Annie Alarcón. Annie is artist/designer and co-founder and creative director of Lustre Estudio, a Tijuana based studio which builds community around ceramics through workshops and classes.
The residency will be followed by a fall residency in Tijuana hosting a designer from San Diego as part of an ongoing exchange.

Join us for an exhibition by May 2024 design resident Gael Guerrero, Tijuana based founder and creative director of architecture and design studio Fragmento. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Saturday 11-4pm, and the sculpture garden near Provecho Coffee is open 7 days a week 8am-3pm.

Eat & Diseño / San Diego
In November 2023, Here and There hosted a gathering of designers from San Diego and Tijuana for a design tour in Barrio Logan, San Diego with conversation over dinner at Ciccia.
Twenty designers of different disciplines from both San Diego and Tijuana came together to make new connections while exploring design studios in the area with a tour of the current exhibitions and projects of Bread & Salt by owner Jim Brown, and studio visits with designer Jason Lane of JXL Studio and fashion designer Claudia Biezunski-Rodriguez of Sew Loka.

Eat & Diseño / Tijuana
In July 2023 during the first edition of Tijuana Design Week, Aquí y Allá hosted a group of twenty designers from Tijuana and San Diego for a tour of Tijuana Design Week Showroom, hosted at Matiz Estudio, featuring an exhibition of 24 designers from various disciplines — from furniture and objects to jewelry and fashion design — curated by Matiz Estudio and Object México. Following the tour the designers made new connections over lunch together at the historic Caesar’s restaurant downtown.
